JOIN US FOR A PIPE CEREMONY WITH JEAN STEVENSON AND DELBERT SAMPSON AT THE NATIVE FRIENDSHIP CENTRE OF MONTREAL ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 20TH, 2016.
The pipe is used to carry our prayers in physical form to the Creator. Smoke from tobacco medicine becomes our words. The roots of the tobacco plant go deep into the earth and its smoke rises high into the sky world.
This Ceremony is dedicated to Residential School Survivors and their families. Priority for participation will be for Residential School Survivors, Intergenerational Survivors and the Urban Native Community of Montreal. If you do not identify with these groups, you are still welcome to attend. Please communicate with the Program Coordinator.

Tobacco bundle for your prayer / to offer to the Elders (if possible)
Women - wear long skirts
Women on their moontime should not attend the ceremony.
