Mixed Sweat Lodge Ceremony at Jardin Botanique
Join us for the Mixed Healing Sweat Lodge Ceremony with Jean Stevenson and Delbert Sampson at the Montreal Botanical Gardens on Sunday, August 7th, 2016.
If you give your name, then you are committing to attending (the Lodge is small, so only a certain amount of people can fit inside of it). This Ceremony is dedicated to Residential School Survivors and their families. Priority for participation will be for Residential School Survivors, Intergenerational Survivors and the Urban Native Community of Montreal. If you do not identify with these groups and wish to attend, please communicate with the Program Coordinator.

Participants must arrive by 8:30 AM on June 26th. We will meet where the greenhouse building is by the front entrance of the Botanical Gardens. We will give our names to the desk clerk to be waived of entrance fees. Please RSVP by June 16th, to ensure your name is on the list at the front entrance, or else you will be responsible for paying the entrance fees.
What to Bring:
Tobacco (bundle for your prayer / to offer to the Elders)
Shorts and a change of clothing. We will be outside all day, so dress according to the weather.
1-2 towels and a plastic bag for wet clothes
Something to drink-water, juice
A snack / dish to share
How to Get there:
Metro: Pie-IX Metro (East exit).
Bus: Number 24 bus on Sherbrooke St.
By car: There is on-site parking for the day - $12.00
If you wish to make a monetary donation, it will go to the Fire Keeper and the Helper.
