Every Day is a Good Day to Be Indigenous

When you know who you are; when your mission is clear and you burn with the inner fire of unbreakable will; no cold can touch your heart; no deluge can dampen your purpose. You know that you are alive.
— Chief Seattle

June 21st marks 20 years since National Aboriginal Day was created in hopes that all Canadians will recognize and celebrate the diverse cultures and heritages of the First Peoples of Canada. In the Canadian Constitution, the three groups, First Nations, Inuit, and Métis are recognized as Indigenous peoples.

We don't need a calendar day to remind us of how unique and resilient our cultures and traditions are. Come and celebrate our strong generations and community and give thanks for the new season that is upon us.

Bring your friends and family to celebrate being strong Indigenous peoples on June 23rd at Beaver Lake on Mont Royal in Montreal, QC.
